The ideal candidate will create, draft, and design product layouts and schemes using customer specification and recommendations.

Responsibilities:

Design Switchboards and Switchgears
Prepare mechanical diagrams and drawings for electrical sheet metal units
Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams
Fully model and create parts and assemblies in SolidWorks
Create and revise fully detailed engineering prints
Analyse and respond to issues from both customers and assembly floor
Create and validate Bills of Materials and drawings for customer submittal and fabrication

Qualifications:

1-5 Years of experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing or other related fields
BE, BTECH, DAE in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or experience in the engineering field
Familiarity with machine designs and diagrams
Familiarity with SolidWorks, Autocad or other related 3D software
Knowledge of Sheet Metal and Designs
Knowledge of Electro-Mechanical Switchgear and Switchboards
Ability to communicate in English
