Position Objective

Responsible for Food distribution; community outreach component activities, formation of community committees, establishment distribution sites, ensure transparent household assessment, support in validation, coordination with key stakeholders in community for the distribution arrangement, Distribution of food items in dignifying way. Ensure all the relevant documentation. Information sharing with relevant stakeholders of the project in consultation with supervisor/ team leader on beneficiary identification, process, distribution, support in complaint response mechanism.

Mission 1 Responsibilities:

Responsibility to ensure the effective implementation of food distribution/ WFP project and community outreach activities in the field.

· Develop micro plan of community outreach activities in consultation with the team leader.

· Community sensitization on the program objectives and methods to stimulate & eventually promote the understanding and participation of the target population. Community sensitization starts at village- and Community-leader levels and eventually extends to the entire population.

· Establishment of community committees.

· Conduct House hold and community level assessments.

· Ensure complaint response mechanism in place.

· Area mapping to identify the distribution sites in consultation with the community members and team leaders.

· Ensure smooth distribution

· Sharing of information with community in timely manner

· Flag issues and problems in time

· Work as team and ensure close coordination with the supervisors

Mission 2 : Ensure compliance with ACFs gender equality, child protection sensitivity and Safeguarding policies This position is responsible for:

· Read and ensure a full understanding of ACFs Gender, Child Protection and other safeguarding policies

· Implement all work related activities with a gender, inclusion and child protection lens

· Help build an inclusive office environment where people do not feel disadvantaged or judged according to their gender or limited due to manageable disability

Specific skills needed to perform the function

ð Advance Technical qualification/diploma or Bachelors Degree in relevant field

ð Minimum 02 year of overall experience in relevant field in development sector.

ð Ability to speak local Language is mandatory along with other languages Urdu & English

ð Computer literate

ð Willingness to travel frequently

Internal & External relationships

ð Community representative

ð Team leader, project manager, and field staff (program)

ð Meal team, and field staff (program), project manager

ð Team leaders, project manager, and LOG
