Jhpiego, an international non-profit health organization affiliated with The Johns Hopkins University, USA, is seeking a Consultant Admin & Logistics Officer to support its project activities in Lahore, Kasur, and Khanewal, Pakistan. With a strong legacy of over 50 years in improving health outcomes for women and families globally, Jhpiego requires a skilled professional to ensure seamless operational and administrative functions during a critical transition period. This consultancy, based in Lahore, will run from August 1 to September 30, 2025, and involves managing logistics, procurement, inventory, travel arrangements, event coordination, and supervision of administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily logistics and administrative support to facilitate smooth project operations across Lahore and field sites in Kasur and Khanewal.
- Organize workshops, trainings, and meetings by coordinating venues, preparing materials, and assisting participants.
- Arrange travel and accommodation for staff and consultants, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Manage procurement activities in line with Jhpiego and donor policies, verify vendor invoices, and coordinate timely submission to Finance for payment processing.
- Maintain accurate records of office supplies, assets, and inventory; perform periodic reconciliations and submit updated reports to management.
- Supervise and mentor administrative support staff, including drivers and office assistants, monitoring their performance and documenting feedback.
- Handle petty cash management according to organizational policy and maintain an organized filing system for all administrative and logistics documentation.
- Prepare purchase orders using QuickBooks and upload them on Docuvantage for approval.
- Ensure all logistical and administrative deliverables are completed, documented, and archived, including final reconciliation reports and both hard and soft copies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in administration and logistics support.
- Demonstrated expertise in procurement, inventory management, and event coordination.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively during a transition period to prevent disruption in project implementation.
The Consultant Admin & Logistics Officer will report directly to the Provincial Program Manager based in Lahore. This is a fixed-term consultancy position with monthly engagement from August through September 2025.
