Manage the general ledger, including journal entries, month-end closing, and reconciliations.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
Prepare and file statutory returns.
Monitor cash flows and banking operations.
Support the implementation of financial policies and ERP systems.
Lead a team of junior accountants and ensure their tasks are completed accurately and on time.
