Software Developer

Al-Shams Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our team. As a Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that meet the needs of our Employee. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, implement solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test software applications according to Employee requirements and specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and other developers, to analyze needs and develop effective solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using appropriate programming languages and tools.
Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying and implementing solutions in a timely manner.
Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of software applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for improvements to existing systems.
Collaborate with the team to identify and implement process improvements, including automation and efficiency enhancements.
Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and maintaining code quality standards.
Maintain technical documentation for software applications, including user manuals and technical specifications.
Support clients in deploying and maintaining software applications, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer, preferably in a similar industry or domain.
Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, principles, and best practices.
Experience with front-end and back-end development, including frameworks such as React, Angular, Node.js, or Django.
Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and SQL querying.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
Experience with mobile application development (iOS, Android) and/or cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter).
