- Maintains the record of all equipment & their accessories, fixed assets, Reagent Stock, Stationary and all other miscellaneous items present in Lab Store or in Clinical Lab.
- Follow process flow of purchasing and makes arrangement for proper supply of reagents and accessories for smooth running of Clinical Lab and makes a follow up to the ordered items for making sure of their in time delivery.
- Issues requested written demand to different Lab Sections, Collection Point and other Departments as and when required.
- Making a close observation about the expiry of the reagents so those could be utilized before their expiry date.
- Coordinates with M.M.D and suppliers regarding the proper maintenance of Inventory through manager laboratory. Updates The Lab Manager about any shortcoming so suitable alternate should be taken.
- Ensures that all reagents are kept in order.
- Maintains a healthy professional relationship with medical staff and other departments.
- Confirm unusual finding / shortcoming by discussing with the Lab Manager to avoid any mishap in inventory control.
- Performs secretarial functions as per requirement as and when required.
- Maintain functional MIS in department, coordinate with ICT on all ICT related issues.
- Maintain record of all Equipment in lab either on placement or purchased. Coordinate with Engineers for repairs and replacements.
- Any other duty or responsibility as and when assigned.
