Responsibilities:
- Use web scraping tools and techniques to collect data from various websites.
- Identify and extract specific data points according to defined criteria.
- Clean and organize extracted data into usable formats (spreadsheets, databases).
- Ensure data accuracy and completeness through quality checks.
- May write or m odify scripts to automate data scraping tasks (depending on the role).
- Stay up-to-date with web scraping trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with data entry and data manipulation.
- Basic understanding of HTML and web structures (preferred).
- Familiarity with web scraping tools or scripting languages (a plus).
- Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
