We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Manager – Finance to join our finance team. This role involves supporting daily financial operations, reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience managing finance functions, preferably within the manufacturing or automobile sectors. The position demands a proactive approach, excellent multitasking abilities, and a commitment to accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets management, and bank reconciliations.
- Support budget development, forecasting, and variance analysis reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist during internal and external audits.
- Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Prepare management reports and financial dashboards to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Maintain financial records in accordance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards.
- Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and production departments to ensure accurate financial data flow.
- Assist in implementing and improving internal controls and ERP system processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
- Knowledge of local tax laws and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Part-qualified or fully qualified ACCA, ACMA, or CA (Inter) certification is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within the automobile or manufacturing industries.
- This is a full-time, in-person role offering a competitive monthly salary range of Rs100,000 to Rs125,000.
