Our company Atlas Equipments is looking to hire an Accountant for its food division ‘Atlas Foods’.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
Prepare and post all accounting entries along with journal entries using the Peachtree software.
Prepare and maintain vendors and customers ledgers.
Carry out physical inventory counts on a regular basis.
Fund Flow on daily basis along with stock movement report.
Prepare and record receipt and payment vouchers.
Prepare raw materials consumption reports along with analysis.
Prepare and analyze account reconciliations.
Prepare reports detailing monthly expenses.
Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
Prepare statutory accounts on a monthly basis.
Ad Hoc Analysis as needed.
Frequently visit the factory for understanding the whole running process and suggesting any improvements if necessary.
Recovery from distributor and keep a monitor on the credit time period given and payments received.
Prepare a monthly recovery report.
Correspond with other corporate departments to ensure proper accounting for purchases and expenses.
Cheaques and Cash Bank Deposits and Withdrawals.
Budgeting and Controlling.
Payrolls and Salaries Vouchers.
Close coordination with the distribution office.

Financial Accounting, Financial Analysis, Financial Management, Peachtree, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills, Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally, Ability to work independantly
