We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer for a work from home contract to hire position.

No sponsorship available.

Will be responsible for maintaining and monitoring core systems and applications, supporting the SQL Server instances and databases, executing code deployments and upgrades, scripting, automation and capacity planning.

This position requires after hours support, occasional weekend work and a flexible work schedule.

On premise and Cloud infrastructure Level 2/3 support and stability
Windows and Linux server installation, configuration, tuning, monitoring and break-fix support
Solid understanding of Azure service offerings and ability to design hybrid solutions
SQL Server installation, configuration, tuning, monitoring and support
PowerShell, Batch, Shell, SQL, Python or Perl a plus
Chef, Puppet, or Ansible experience a plus
Docker experience a plus

Technical Requirements

Windows Server (2003 thru 2019)
SQL Server knowledge and experience (2005 thru 2019)
Linux – Redhat Enterprise Linux (v6.x thru v8.x)
Tableau Server
SharePoint (2007 thru 2019)
SCOM, Dynatrace, Foglight, Extrahop, WUG
Windows PowerShell Python Shell scripting
Basic AD management experience
