1- Manages and directs the activities of assigned personnel in the Chemical Laboratories. Performs supervisory functions as established by management for this job.
2- To check samples of chemicals which are received in factory on daily basis to test their quality for acceptance or rejection with proper report.
3- Inform store in-charge and purchase department about acceptance-rejection status of incoming chemicals through printed lab reports.
4- Discuss testing results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions
5- Ensures that all processes in lab are being carried out in accordance with the documented procedures, that is, inspect, test, or measure materials, products, processes or work for conformance to specifications and verify that all work instructions for machines & workers and SOP’s of the concerned process are in compliance with standard requirements.

7- Identify and solve problems and assist supervisors and other personnel of production, in identifying and correcting these problems through lab working.
8- Test products, materials (chemicals) according to their standard/ specifications.
9- Keep, measurement equipment in lab, operating, by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
10- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations and to make sure that housekeeping of the area and SOP’s are followed.
11- Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
12- Document inspection/testing of results by keeping records; summarizing lab work processes assigned to him.
13- Ensure all inspection, measuring and testing equipments are calibrated and operating under controlled conditions.
14- He keeps a manual record of incoming chemicals in printed format file.
