Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits
Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
Verify data by comparing it to source documents or files
Update existing data
Retrieve data as requested
Sort, organize and store paperwork after entering data
Proven experience as data entry clerk
Should have fast typing skills
Should have excellent knowledge of word processing tools
Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
Give great attention to detail
Scan documents and print files, when needed
Keep information confidential
Respond to queries for information and access relevant files
Comply with data integrity and security policies
Experience with MS Office and data programs
Experience using office equipment, like printer and scanner
High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset
Verifies integrity of data by comparing it to source document
Reviews data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies
Maintains a filing system and protects confidential customer information
