- Manage day to day accounting, costing and reporting activities & can demonstrate experience of accounting policy/process development, development of costing systems etc.
- Working closely with Sales, Procurement and Director Finance, prepare monthly cash forecasts and track on daily bases.
- Review, sign & post all vouchers from accounting sections.
- Introduce a monthly Financial Statement Close schedule and ensure compliance.
- Responsible for development & custodian of in-process controls and their regular testing to ensure they are effective.
- Review monthly Bank reconciliations and ensure that all open items are investigated and cleared within 1 month from appearing in the Bank reconciliation.
- Review monthly P&L and BS account reconciliations and ensure all adjustments are explained in detail and relevant adjustment processed in next month after due approval.
- Working with various department heads, ensure timely preparation of monthly review pack for management incl. various reconciliations and schedules.
- Lead the annual planning exercise and prepare detailed business plan.
- Ensure monthly tracking of plan vs actuals & explanation of variances. Where required, lead the quarterly reforecasts and work with Dir Finance/CEO to track progress.
- Should have a good understanding of various tax regimes.
- Should have excellent command on MS Office.
- Advanced Excel & presentation skills will be a major PLUS.
- Should be able to demonstrate understanding & experience of ERP systems.
- Any other activity as may be required by the Organization.
