IT Network Manager

Responsibility:

Design, deploy and maintain networks. (LAN, WLAN, WAN, and VLANs).
Collect, document, and analyze functional and non-functional network requirements.
Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
Ensure optimal network performance and integrity for high availability while keeping availability, utilization, throughput, jitter, latency, and general weaknesses in check.
Resolve issues by troubleshooting related to ISPs, end destinations, and local infrastructure.
Improve network performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity by introducing infrastructural improvements, network monitoring tools, automation, and software upgrades.
Identity network-related risks and mitigate threats by implementing or suggesting improvements.
Ensure proper configurations, updates, monitoring, data protection, and virus/malware protection for computers on the network. (Personal computers and phones will be the assignee’s own responsibility).
Mentor IT team members and provide assistance on technical issues, skill set requirements, and career guidance.
Ensure that the reporting team is updated with current practices and solutions.
Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)
Produce network health reports, incident reports, technical documentation, user guides, and other similar reports. Also, present them to concerned team members when needed.
Communicate with the concerned employees whenever needed to address issues and concerns.
Attend meetings and event-related to network and infrastructure.
Prepare requisites and arrange hardware after getting requirements from different departments.
Serve as a backup in absence of other network department members.
Troubleshoot power interruption to the surveillance system and other IT infrastructure. Resolve whenever possible or escalate when necessary. This includes UPS but excludes other electronics.
Handle escalation by system network

Skills:

Preferably a Master’s degree or Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field of study.
Excellent English communication silks.
Flexible to work different shifts.
Great understanding of computer networks with a proven track record.
