A prestigious industrialist family of Lahore, Punjab, founded Sufi Steel Industries in 1990, today one of the leading Steel Manufacturing companies in Steel Industries. Sufi Abdullah, the head of the family was successfully involved in the manufacturing business of forage cutters, sugar cane squeezer roller and rice machinery in eastern Punjab before the partition of the Sub continent. With the creation of Pakistan they had to move to Lahore. Their business had received great set back during the chaos of independence and they had to start a new. Thanks to a tremendous spirit of courage, unity and strength existing among the family members there was but little difficulty felt to establish their selves all over again. Sufi Abdullah\'s sons having revived aims and ambitions started a fresh and laid foundation of Sultan Foundry. The foundry set up a new record in industrial sector. Even today, tube-wells, rice mills machinery and rolling mills machinery manufactured by this company are extensively used in Pakistan.
