Controller Finance Shared Services

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to lead the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. This role requires close coordination with regional offices and finance teams to efficiently complete month-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in IFRS, internal controls, and corporate laws, along with demonstrated leadership skills to effectively manage finance functions and supervise teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the preparation and consolidation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Review the monthly general ledger to verify correct postings and resolve any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS standards wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with regional offices and finance departments to complete the month-end closing process on time.
- Conduct internal control reviews across finance functions and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Liaise with internal and external audit teams to ensure timely execution of audit recommendations and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with regional teams to gather and consolidate information for management reporting.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management to support decision-making.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, quarterly and annual statutory accounts, and oversee quarterly and annual audits.
- Coordinate with the SAP team to facilitate necessary system customizations and support finance-related projects.
- Assist in preparing ad hoc reports and perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Supervise the direct cost payable team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.

Required Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA qualification with articles completed at a reputable audit firm.
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in finance or accounts within a reputable organization.
- Strong working knowledge of the SAP FI module.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Deep understanding of IFRS, internal controls, and corporate laws.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask, work effectively under pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
- Adaptable and dynamic, capable of rotating across various finance functions as needed.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Prior experience with SAP/FICO modules is preferred.
