An engineering company based in Bahria Town Islamabad is looking to hire dedicated & result oriented Procurement officer.

Key Responsibilities include:

Research potential vendors
Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing
Track orders and ensure timely delivery
Review quality of purchased products
Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases
Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage
Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices
Work with procurement manager to complete duties as needed
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations as well as legal requirements and company SOP's.

Job Requirements:

High school degree or equivalent ·
Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems ·
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a procurement officer or related position
Must have purchasing experience in the engineering field (construction knowledge is preferred) ·
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and bookkeeping ·
Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions ·
Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts ·
Excellent verbal and written communication skills ·
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently ·
Accurate and precise attention to detail ·
Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels ·
Goal-oriented, organized team player
Salary will be offered based on experience
Candidates from Islamabad/Rawapindi withr relevant experience will be given preferance.
