Account Payroll Executive

The Accounts & Payroll Executive is responsible for managing payroll processes and assisting in maintaining accurate financial records. The role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and a good understanding of payroll laws and accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities: Payroll Duties:

Process monthly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Calculate salaries, bonuses, deductions, and benefits in accordance with legal and company policies
Maintain payroll records and reports
Handle queries related to salaries, deductions, and taxes
Ensure compliance with tax laws, labor laws, and statutory requirements (e.g., EOBI, Social Security, Income Tax)

Accounting Duties:

Maintain accurate records of day-to-day financial transactions
Prepare journal entries, ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes
Generate monthly financial reports and assist in budget preparation
Support internal and external audits
Assist in VAT/Sales tax and income tax filings

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CA part-qualified is a plus)
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or ERP systems)
Strong knowledge of payroll laws and accounting standards
Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and organizational skills
