- Responsible to arrange manpower with consultation of his superiors for working during the day and to assign work area to each individual.
- Responsible to arrange the classification of Scrap into BEARING MONETARY VALUE (further classified in to Metal, Plastic, Wood & Paper cards) and NON- MONETARY VALUE, under intimation to his superiors.
- Responsible to ensure damaging of all parts / components before delivery so as to avoid the chance of re-use.
- Responsible to arrange weighing & loading of scrap to respective contractors’ category-wise in the presence of Security Personnel and bring into accounts for Invoicing.
- Responsible to arrange the preparation of Gate Pass from Admin Office and deliver copy of Gate Pass to contractor or his representative.
- Responsible to arrange the disposal of scrap which has no monitory value either outside the factory by tractor trolley or burning into incinerator if found working.
- Responsible to keep record of all scrap received in scrap yard either through Rejected MRS or without documents.
- Responsible to o bring out advance balance detail of the various contractors by every 4:30 P.m. and put it in respective file under intimation of his superiors.
- Responsible to maintain daily dispatch record on computer sheet and prepare monthly category-wise scrap sales statement on prescribed program for all sales made during the month.
- Responsible to implement and maintain 7-S program in the department.
- Performs any other work as assigned from time to time.
