ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
- Keeps records of vehicle and equipment repairs through repair orders.
- Orders and picks up parts.Matches invoiced parts with repair orders and submits to purchasing.Requests purchase orders.
- Keeps inventory in parts warehouse.
- Assists in repair and maintenance of vehicle, construction, and maintenance equipment.
- Cleans and maintains equipment and tools.
- Operates a light vehicle in the performance of duties.
- Inspects vehicle for safety precautions.
- Must establish and maintain an effective working relationship with other employees of the City.
- Performs additional duties or emergency duties after normal work hours when requested by supervisor or designee.
