o Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
o Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements
o Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
o Establish/Restructure Chart of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
o Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current Information technology.
o Responsible to legally minimize tax liabilities through informed application of tax laws and regulations
o Prepare and review tax calculations, estimates and reports
o Manage tax compliance, reporting, and filing works for the Company
o Ensure timely and accurate filing of all corporate and personnel income tax and GST returns
o Act as the key point of contact and support for taxation matters
o Liaise and Manage external tax authorities and consultants
o Review current and deferred tax provision
o Advise Head of Finance about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecast.
o Interact with company banking and financial partners.
o Other duties and projects as assigned.
