Evaluate Medicolegal is looking for a Medicolegal File Preparation Team Lead to join our growing team. The role will require an individual experienced in the provision of high-quality, factually accurate, and timely medico-legal reports. This is a work-from-home, remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparing Medicolegal files except for MOI (Mechanism of Injury) for the file preparation agent.
Preparing 2-3 complete Medicolegal files (file size under 30 pages) per week.
Delivering work within specific timeframes.
Maintaining compliance with statutory, regulatory, and local, state, and federal guidelines relating to HIPAA.
Ensuring that the medical records are organized, accurate, and complete
Creating digital copies of paperwork and storing the records electronically
Filing the paperwork and reports of inpatients quickly and accurately
Safeguarding patient records and ensuring that everyone complies with the HIPAA standards
Providing support to other file preparation agents.
Initiating timely responses to emails, voicemails, and written correspondence.
Input daily tasks into a Microsoft Excel Sheet.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience or qualifications in allied health, legal or insurance industries, ideally with experience in interpreting medico-legal reports – highly regarded.
Outstanding literacy skills including comprehension, spelling, and grammar, with a high attention to detail.
A secure, ergonomic home office set up with high-speed internet access and access to and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
