We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality video content for our organization. The video editor will be involved in all stages of the video production process, from conceptualization to post-production, and will work collaboratively with the creative team to ensure the delivery of visually appealing and engaging content. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video editing software, visual storytelling, and motion graphics.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the creative team to produce high-quality video content
Edit raw footage into compelling videos, ensuring consistency of branding, messaging, and tone
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video
Add effects, transitions, and sound effects to enhance the quality of the video
Work with sound designers, animators, and graphic designers to ensure the final product is visually appealing and engaging
Compress video files for web delivery and upload content to various platforms, such as YouTube and Vimeo
Stay up to date with video editing trends and software updates to ensure the best quality videos

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a video editor
Proficient in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro
Strong understanding of visual storytelling and motion graphics
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
A creative eye for video composition and design
Knowledge of video codecs, file types, and file compression techniques
A portfolio of work showcasing your video editing skills

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field is preferred, but not required.

Salary:

The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
