Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting- ACCA / CA
7-10 yr strong multi national experience
International or European experience is nice to have
Good experience in accounting, general ledger accounting, financial reporting, or auditing
Big 4 consulting experience is preferred.
Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to proactively manage a variety of projects and timelines; demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness and an ability to manage multiple clients, assignments and deliverables
Requires understanding of all accounting and financial transactions to include project-based accounting, job costing, indirect cost tracking and rate calculations, reconciliation of accounts, and adjustments
Should have working knowledge of GAAP

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing
They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset
Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
Research and analyze expense variances for company management
