Job Summary

Responsible for periodic preparation of management reports and the supporting tasks which includes but not limited to recording GL entries, preparing trial balance, bank reconciliation, recording revenues, calculating cost of goods sold and booking accruals in a timely and accurate manner. 

• Perform a wide variety of record keeping and payroll processing activities.

• Must have knowledge of payroll processing in general.

• Computing wage and overtime payments.

• Calculating and record payroll deductions. • Process requests for paycheck advances.

• Able to use GP (Microsoft Great Plains) software to integrate payroll hours.

• Process New hires, status changes, transfers, terminations in GP.

• Must have analytical skills and must be detail orientated.

• Prepare the payroll file from start to finish.

• Work well in a fast-paced environment and multi-task. Ability to draft all correspondence pertaining to the department.

• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.

• Excellent telephone skills. 

• Excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and work with limited supervision.
