We are looking for an experienced Finishing Incharge to join the finishing department of a dyeing unit specializing in knitted dyed fabrics. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing finishing machine operations, ensuring high-quality output through both open width and tube finishing techniques. This role requires a hands-on leader who can implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency while minimizing defects. A strong technical background in finishing machinery, combined with a solid understanding of knitting and laboratory testing, is essential to excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage finishing machine operations for knitted dyed fabrics, covering both open width and tube finishing methods.
- Implement and maintain best practices aimed at improving process efficiency and product quality.
- Monitor production closely to identify and prevent defects, ensuring consistent adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and resolve any technical issues related to finishing processes.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of finishing machinery to troubleshoot problems and optimize machine performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks in accordance with laboratory testing protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Finishing Supervisor or In-charge in a similar textile environment.
- Strong technical expertise in finishing machines and processes specific to knitted dyed fabrics.
- Sound knowledge of knitting techniques and laboratory testing procedures.
- Educational qualification of Intermediate level or equivalent is preferred.
