Responsibilities:
· Maintaining clients’ books of accounts, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial package
· Preparing client files and working papers
· Drafting financial statements for compilation engagements
· Preparing corporate and personal tax returns
· Calculating and preparing GST/HST, payroll and other government remittances
· Preparing client correspondence (i.e. emails, letters and memos)
· Assisting with other administrative functions as required
Qualifications:
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· Minimum of 2+ years of related experience preferably in a public accounting firm
· Knowledge of QuickBooks is a must
· B.COM/M.COM/ACCA/MBA Accounting
· An accounting designation is not necessary but preferred
· The office timing is 4:00 Pm to 12:00 AM (Evening shift)
· Job is Lahore based. Local candidates are preferred
· Training will be provided
Salary: Depends on experience & Skill
We are a public accounting firm which deals with audit, assurance as well as personal and corporate tax filings. Most of our clients are from Canada. You will be working the Canadian office hours (night shift in Pakistan ) This is a great company to learn about Canadian taxes and gain Candian experience.
