PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
To ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
Performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
Manage development projects to integrate new technologies into existing systems
Monitor and address IT support issues to ensure resolution and provide feedback to management as necessary
Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
To analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
To audit systems and assess their outcomes regularly
Establish a security policy to protect company information and resources
Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science or similar field
6-8 years’ relevant work experience

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

Hands on experience of leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructure across various technologies
Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems
Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
