IT Engineer to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our IT department within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
Will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs, and recommend solutions based on best industry practice.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS:
· Act in line with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
· Identify problematic areas and implement timely strategic solutions
· Manage IT staff by training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance.
· Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
· Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
· Audit systems and assess outcomes
· Preserve assets, information security and control structures
· Handle annual Budget and ensure control structures
Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
- MS / BS in Computer Science / MS in MIS
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and computer hardware/software systems
- Expertise in data center management and data governance
Experience:
- 1-3 Years Work experience as IT Engineer in reputable IT Firm
- 3 years IT related experience
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
Good communication (oral and written) skills,
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and interact with people at all levels,
Ability to influence through the use of persuasive argument,
Good planning and organizational skills,
Good analytical and problem solving skills
