We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Accountant to join our team at our office-based location. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in accounting and finance. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing financial operations, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. You will collaborate with senior management to provide key financial insights that will support decision-making and enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to ensure financial objectives are met.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with New Jersey tax laws and filing of tax returns.
Audit Support: Prepare documentation for audits and work closely with external auditors to ensure compliance with regulations.
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify trends, variances, and recommend cost-saving measures to improve financial performance.
Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments to employees.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards and ensure company compliance with all relevant financial laws.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, providing financial insights to assist in business decision-making.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

MBA/ACCA Qualified/CAF Qualified with articles completed /CMA Qualified.
3-4 years of professional experience in accounting and finance, with a proven track record in financial reporting, tax compliance, and analysis.
Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks online & desktop versions) and Microsoft Excel.
Comprehensive knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and accounting standards.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to analyze financial data and generate actionable insights for management.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Additional Information:

This is an office-based position, requiring you to work in the office during the night shift for our client based in the United States.
Five days a week (Monday to Friday).
