1. Scheduling working shifts as per production plan & injection molding machines capacity.
2. Work closely with the production planning team to align machine capacity with production schedules.
3. Ensure the departmental production targets and key performance indicators are met on a daily, weekly & monthly basis by monitoring.
4. Diagnose and rectify mold-related problems effectively, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal production performance.
5. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and optimize mold performance continually.
6. Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams on the introduction of new products, molds, or processes.
7. Implement and supervise preventive maintenance programs to ensure the proper functioning of machinery.
8. Coordinate machine repairs and upgrades with the maintenance team.
9. Manage inventory for spare parts and ensure critical components are available to minimize production downtime.
10. Track 3rd Source material shipment and availability for the production plan.
11. Coordination with the PPC department to ensure the availability of local parts in time.
12. Compliance of material receiving through the system & resolving any BOM issues related to material consumption in the system (SAP/WMS).
13. Develop and manage the department’s budget, tracking expenses related to machine maintenance, parts, and labor.
14. Implementation of 6S on the injection molding production floor. Maintain and improve housekeeping in all production areas.
15. Continually improve safety records by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.
16. Timely arrange the training programs for team development regarding skill enhancement of workers and supervisors.
17. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry standards as ISO.
18. Responsible for month-end closing & stock take activities.
