Database Adminstration - SQL

Hiring for a research based solution provider that specializes in the field of communications, computer vision, image processing (medical and non-medical), video processing (both medical and non-medical), speech processing, networking and alternative energy solutions.

Using cutting edge technologies they provides both hardware and software solutions for problems that have no existing solutions available in the market.
The solutions provided by them are thoroughly tested and validated based on user requirements
Strong background in database programming using SQL/PLSQL i.e. stored procedures, functions, triggers and packages is required.
Good understanding of database concepts i.e. normalizations/renormalization, schemas, table spaces, temporary tables, views, indexes, sequences, partitioning etc. is required.
SQL Tuning techniques to prevent performance degradation and understanding on how to use Explain Plan / Query Analyzer / Optimization Tool is required.
Working experience in database security, primarily on Encryption and decryption concepts will be a plus.
Hands-on experience required.
Understanding of Linux Platform is required.
Understanding of programming languages is a major plus.
Hands on in web services development.
Previous experience working in a major tech company for financial domain, telecommunications or enterprise/customer facing web application environment will be a plus
