Provide functional expertise in establishing HSE requirements:
- Provide HSE and technical support for general queries and report on HSE performance and best practice
- Support the site management team in appropriate HSE leadership
- Liaise with all site personnel to ensure effective use of best practice and consistency in approach to HSE activities
- Promote a risk-based approach to HSE management
- Effectively support the implementation of the following Requirements:
- Lead initiatives to promote visible and pro-active management commitment and employee involvement in HSE activities
- Participate in workplace activities to raise the quality of HSE input, including JRAs, incident investigation and risk management
- Adopt a governance role to check compliance with these requirements:
- Provide oversight to ensure all site activities have effective work safety arrangements
- Actively promote and monitor the management of change issues and change
- Monitor and review HSE performance to drive continual improvement:
- Support the implementation and achievement of campaign HSE objectives and performance measures
- Stimulate improvements to procedures and work practices
- Participate in and facilitate HSE audits, reviews & assessments
- Support the collecting, storing, analyzing, tracking and reporting of HSE performance data (e.g. Incident report findings, statistics, audit actions)
COMPETENCIES
- NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA, ASP or equivalent
