Key Responsibilities

Develop and present seasonal Mood & Trend Boards, in line with brand direction and target consumer
Ideate and present direction for denim washes and shades, new fits and new styles, colour card, prints, details, techniques
Give input for the research and development of new fabrics and trims, considerate of target costs
Manage daily design follow-up activities needed for product development
Work according to line plan and meet PD calendar deadlines
Attend and participate in fittings
Prepare and manage proto reviews, wash reviews, collection presentations partnering with Merchandising
Develop tools for line presentations
Document and preserve all illustrations, detailed layouts, design works and sheets for future references
Research trends and present new ideas by online research, competitive shopping, attending trade shows, meeting with vendors, etc.

Skills & Qualification:

Must understand denim fabrications, washes and denim development.
Must understand construction of denim 5 pockets, shirt and jackets and denim related fashion products.
Understanding and knowledge of Denim’s market
Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop
Must be experienced in tech packs, BOM’s, PLM and/or Full Circle processing of tech packs.
Must have talent in sketching ideas either by hand or illustrator and must be proficient and accurate in technical sketching.
Good communication skills, ability to work by deadlines and processes, team player
