Social Media Specialist

We are looking for a Social Media Assistant who can enhance our brand and build strong online communities through our various social media platforms. The Social Media Officer will be responsible for developing and administering social media content that is designed to engage users and create an interactive relationship between consumers and the company. The successful candidate will also be required to collect and review social media data to develop more effective campaigns.

Social Media Assistant Job Purpose:

Building and executing social media strategy through competitive and audience research
Setting up and optimizing company pages within each social media platform.
Performing research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals
Setting specific objectives and reporting on ROI
Optimizing copy and landing pages for search engine optimization
Performing ongoing keyword research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
Researching and implementing content recommendations for organic SEO success

Job brief

We are looking for a driven Social Media Assistant to attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and networks users and an SEO/SEM expert to manage all search engine optimization and marketing activities.
A talented Social media Assistant to administer our social media accounts. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage our company image in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
As a Social media Assistant, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s views creatively.
Ultimately, you should be able to handle our social media presence ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.
You will be responsible for managing all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also manage all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize ROI.

Requirements Social Media Assistant Skills, Qualifications and Experience

Marketing or Social Media Marketing Degree Preferred
1 – 3 years’ experience in social media marketing and/or PR
Technology Skills, Content Writing, Graphic Design, Campaign Execution, Teamwork, Self-Motivation, Strong Communication Skills, Networking, Idea Presentation
Experience in outreach, sales, grassroots, social media, digital PR, buzz building and building sustainable communities.
You have to be a social media power user and have a proven background building a quality online following for a business.
Experience using social media analytics tools and the ability to tweak marketing strategies based on findings.
Experience with social advertising platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter & YouTube
