Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goods.
Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality of work & administrative control of the Warehouse.
Have a clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these.
Use IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs.
Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate.
Plan vehicle routes.
Allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs.
Manage staff/ team of at least 50 people.
Liaise and coordinate with internal/ external customers.
Implement health and safety procedures.
Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems.
