We are looking for an experienced Furniture Assembly Supervisor for our factory furniture assembly line. This role combines supervisory responsibilities with tasks of procuring materials necessary for furniture production.
The ideal candidate must have strong experience in a furniture assembly line, an understanding of quality materials procurement, the ability to lead the team effectively, conduct quality checks of completed furniture, and ensure timely delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the furniture assembly team.
- Ensure the assembly line operates efficiently, meeting quality and productivity targets.
- Train new staff in assembly procedures and safety protocols.
- Procure high-quality materials required for furniture production, negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Maintain inventory levels, ensuring a steady supply of materials without overstocking.
- Review production requirements every day to ensure the production line works smoothly without any delays in completion.
Qualifications:
- Past experience in a similar position involving furniture assembly.
- Knowledge of materials quality, procurement, and management.
- Leadership skills to effectively manage the team.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and discussions.
