Front End Developer

Job Summary
Mesh Square is looking for a skilled Front-End Developer with strong expertise in Next.js to join our innovative and fast-growing team. In this role, you will use your proficiency in Next.js and React.js to design, develop, and maintain user-facing features that enhance the overall user experience. You will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance web applications while working closely with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
You will develop and maintain web applications primarily using JavaScript, React, and Next.js. Collaborating with designers and back-end developers, you will implement visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces that align with project requirements. Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards will be a critical part of your role.

Optimizing applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser/device compatibility is essential. You will conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback to peers, and support team members when needed. Staying current with emerging trends, techniques, and technologies in web development will help you continually improve your work.

Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving bugs and performance issues. You will actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through testing and deployment.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Next.js. Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less, along with a solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3, is required. A good grasp of UI/UX principles and the ability to translate designs into functional, responsive interfaces is essential.

You should be familiar with mobile-first and responsive design methodologies and have experience integrating front-end applications with back-end APIs, including RESTful services. Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git, and build tools like Webpack and module bundlers is necessary.

A strong understanding of web performance optimization techniques and knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library are important. Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities, are required.

Applicants must have a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Front-End Developer. Please note that fresh graduates are not eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
We offer a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs150,000 to Rs200,000. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Rawalpindi Asghar Mall. Candidates must be able to commute reliably or plan to relocate before starting.
