Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting and tax compliance across multiple companies. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with Odoo ERP, a deep understanding of local tax regulations, and a meticulous eye for detail. This role involves handling complex accounting activities for various entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting in line with relevant accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing and finalizing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple entities. This includes performing intercompany reconciliations and efficiently consolidating group accounts to present a clear financial picture. Maintaining accurate general ledger records is essential, including posting journal entries and conducting account reconciliations regularly.

Timely and precise filing of sales tax and withholding tax returns is a critical part of the role. The candidate will monitor tax deductions closely and maintain audit-ready documentation to support compliance efforts. Coordination with external auditors and tax consultants is required to ensure smooth audits and tax submissions.

Additionally, the Senior Accountant will work to strengthen internal controls and standardize accounting procedures across all entities. Delivering insightful financial reports to support strategic decision-making is a key function. The role demands proficient use of Odoo ERP software to manage accounting and tax operations effectively.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance. Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, or ICMA are highly preferred. A minimum of five years of hands-on accounting experience is required, particularly with managing accounting functions for multiple entities.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP standards is essential, alongside a thorough understanding of sales tax and withholding tax frameworks. Experience working with Odoo ERP software is mandatory. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent analytical skills, strong organizational abilities, and effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.
