Job Summary
Graphite Work is looking for a skilled Senior WordPress Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role centers on redesigning and maintaining our website to ensure it delivers excellent performance and an engaging user experience. The developer will also be responsible for regularly uploading video content, blogs, and graphic designs across the website and various marketing platforms. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in WordPress customization, SEO optimization, and front-end development. Additional expertise in graphic design and custom coding will be considered a significant advantage. Creativity in crafting content descriptions to boost visibility and user engagement is essential.

Key Responsibilities
Developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins to align with project needs will be a primary task. You will optimize website speed, performance, and SEO best practices to enhance search engine rankings and improve overall user experience. Troubleshooting and resolving website issues, including bugs and security vulnerabilities, will be critical to maintaining a secure and stable environment. Ensuring responsive design and cross-browser compatibility is necessary for seamless access across all devices and platforms.

Collaboration with designers and content teams is key to translating website concepts into functional, visually appealing pages. You will maintain and update existing WordPress sites to improve functionality and performance continually. Additionally, you will upload video content, blogs, and graphic designs on the company website and various marketing channels, using creative and keyword-optimized descriptions to maximize reach and engagement. Managing advertising campaigns across different marketing websites to support promotional efforts will also be part of your responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have a minimum of five years’ experience in WordPress customization and development. Proficiency in programming languages such as HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript is essential. A strong understanding of SEO principles and website optimization techniques is required to drive organic traffic and improve site visibility. Experience in troubleshooting website bugs and addressing security vulnerabilities is necessary to ensure a robust online presence. The ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks is also important.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

This position offers a competitive fixed monthly pay of Rs 40,000 for the contract duration.
