General Physician diagnose patient conditions using examinations and tests. Based on their findings, they prescribe treatment and medications to attempt to heal any illnesses or injuries. General practitioners and pediatricians have a wide range of medical knowledge, and they are often the first types of doctors who patients visit.
Karachi Vocational Training Center (KVTC)
KVTC is the only vocational training centre in Pakistan to have internship & job placement programs by engaging and promoting inclusiveness with multinational corporations like ICI, Cadbury Pakistan, Unilever Pakistan, & HSBC Bank Middle East, where they are also able to find permanent employment. Our teams dedicated work has led to recognition from esteemed institutions like the British Council, West Thames College (UK), Indus Valley School of Arts & Architecture (KHI), & IQRA University Karachi. We regularly engage in knowledge-sharing & vocational projects geared towards increasing opportunities for people with disabilities. We have recently joined NOW PDP, a platform that strives to find employment for disabled people. Like any other organization, KVTCs work has a financial burden to it, especially for an organization running mostly on charity. KVTC considers itself blessed with some openhearted friends who have given us the strength to carry on so far, but rising costs of all essentials like training material, fuel, utilities, & food items have made it extremely difficult for us to carry on with our work. Day by day, our problems increase as we run short of funds even for routine operating activities & at times, find it next to impossible to pay staff salaries. We are now at a stage where we need solid, committed support to make a much-needed significant impact in Pakistan at large regarding the intellectually challenged person's place in our society as deserving, independent, & contributing citizens.
