Write business proposals to form JV and consortium agreements and prepare pre- qualification documents
Must have worked on housing, buildings and road infrastructure projects.
Prepare interim payment certificates and do rate analysis
Communicate with clients and other relevant consultants (architects, engineers and surveyors) and attend regular meetings to keep them inform of the progress
Prepare technical and financial proposals for projects, attending pre & post bids meetings
Prepare construction schedule & site progress reports
Identify businesses and projects to pre-qualify with, and following up on the pre- qualification process, including preparing PQ documents
Research business opportunities and viable income streams
Coordinate with government departments and regulatory bodies in acquiring required .Permits, licenses and approvals
Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
Ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
Oversee the selection and requisition of materials and plant
Agree a price for materials and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the selected project
Manage, monitoring and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project;
Coordinate with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors
Plan the work and organize the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
Oversee quality control, health and safety matters on site
Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
