A leading ladies apparel brand required an outsource merchandiser with following job responsibilities:

Collecting of garment samples, trims and different type of swatches from the vendors.
Planning for new season sampling and production orders.
Analyze the product demand yearly, quarterly, monthly and seasonally.
Develop the purchase strategies.
Search new vendor and maintain relationship with exisiting vendors.
Responsible for all dealings related to pricing, payment terms and conditions, payments scheduling, products availability time period, products quality, samples and adjustment of rejected products.
Search new products from market, web, and vendors on market trends.
Preparing purchase order.
Coordinating as well as following up with the production is expected from you.
Costing and negotiation with trim and accessory suppliers.
Constant update and interaction with the supplies is needed.
Follow up to warehouse for stock receiving and stock return.
Maintain all records, documents, product catalogues, price lists and other related forms.
On time reporting to management
Travels required.
