The Associate Director Business and Product Development will be responsible for providing research, documentation and planning support for all business development and business establishment activities. This will include:

Conducting tertiary market research or commissioning primary research if needed, including preparing detailed requirements documentation, running focus groups, conducting interview and questionnaires, and testing products;
Gathering industry intelligence, including competitor pricing, set up costs, running costs, customary sales channels, etc.
Engaging with manufacturing partners to better understand and be able to sell their product offerings;
Assisting the Director Business Development with any documentation or research required during the sales process, including but not limited to writing proposals, responding to RFPs, tenders, and EOIs, and engaging in customer requirements gathering, for Institutional, Corporate, Development Sector, and Government clients and partners;
Assisting the Director Business Development in engaging with leads provided by the VP Strategic Alliances to complete the sales cycle;
Researching for and preparing pitch decks for several business divisions, aimed at investors;
Creating a multi-brand e-commerce presence in European and local markets, including but not limited to sourcing; branding; digital presence development, including websites, social media, marketplace platforms, and influencer engagements; procurement planning, fulfillment planning and fulfillment partner setup; running paid promotions; and being responsible for for the P&L of the e-commerce arm.
