We are a leading interior design firm specializing in residential and commercial interiors. We are seeking a talented interior designer with a proven track record to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work on a variety of projects through all phases of design from programming, concept development, design development, contract documentation, to contract administration.
- Determine the client’s goals and requirements for the project
- Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, ceiling.
- Preparing drawings, documentation, and specifications. Special emphasis on both conceptual and detailed construction drawings.
- Attend consultant and site meetings, and preparing meeting minutes and site review documents.
- Visit the project site to ensure that the client's requirements have been met.
Qualifications:
- Interior Design Degree with a minimum full-time work experience of 3 years as an interior designer.
- Experience in residential and commercial projects is considered an asset. Those with more experience will be considered.
- Current knowledge of Building Codes and regulations.
- Completely proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, SketchUp, and Photoshop, and very familiar with Adobe Indesign or Illustrator.
- A positive, culture-driven attitude, and brand integrity.
- An interest or demonstrated knowledge in LEED or sustainability guidelines.
- Written and verbal proficiency in English is an asset.
