Head of Digital Operations & IT

The Head of Digital Operations & IT will be responsible for establishing the company’s technology vision, strategies, and plans for growth. Lulusar is an online brand that provides quality fashion that integrates every step of the modern fashion value chain. Responsibilities

· Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals

· Use stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology

· Develop strategic plans and set timelines for evaluation, development, and deployment of all technical, web, and mobile services

· Find the right balance between inhouse and outsourced development resources

· Oversee all system designs and changes in system architecture

· Ensure technology standards and best practices are met

· Study current and new industry trends, technologies, and software development

Requirements

The applicant should have either [or a combination of] a background in business development,operations, technical project management, and/or software engineering.

Skills:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or business studies

· Experience working in an e-commerce business

· Proven experience of recruiting talented engineers or engaging with reputable software development agencies

· Well-rounded technical background; deep understanding of design patterns, enterprise platform architectures, and web & mobile technologies.

· Experience at a start-up

· Familiarity with programming languages – Git, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (JQuery, React), PHP, Java (Android SDKs), Swift (iOS SDKs)

· Familiarity with database management systems and cloud infrastructure networks

· Proficiency in data science and/or statistical analysis
