Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure Operational excellence in Warehousing & Transportation of the region through effective data analysis.
- Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations in coordination with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers
- Develop, execute and ensure adherence of all Warehousing, Transportation and QAHSE SOPs in the region.
- Ensure that the Warehousing & Transportation operations in the region are cost effective
- Gather all operational reports and analyze them in order to take corrective action
- Ensure training and development of warehousing & Transportation’s staff to meet current and future Logistics needs
- Ensure timely and accurately customers audits are handled and signed off
- Ensure and monitor timely incident reporting is done in the region
- Responsible to ensure Emergency Evacuation plan at all sites are developed and rehearsals done as per program issued.
- Ensure Customer SLAs are compliant
- Provide billing data to Finance in a timely manner
- Ensure that no illegal/prohibited activity is carried out in the region
- Provide support in new business initiatives and projects and retention of existing customers through effective relationship management
- Knowledge of Warehousing, Supply Chain & Logistics industry
