- Leads the New Product Development & innovation process under the supervision of Production Manager, as well as the R&D cost savings initiatives from concept to commercialization
- Approved formulation of products that meet/exceed consumer expectations across taste, nutrition, performance and financial hurdles
- Ability to liaison and coordinate with Production manager, Business partner/Customers to understand technicalities involved in a particular product development so that to meet timelines effectively
- Coordinates with Production Manager, internal resources (Marketing, Business Development, Quality Assurance (QA), Supply Chain and Product development teams to manage project completion On-time and within the budget limits
- Maintains good record keeping to support legal resources to manage trade secrets and intellectual property strategy, infringement strategy and execution
- Ensure all formulas comply with appropriate domestic and international regulatory requirements
- Understanding of functional components (Enzymes, Emulsifier, Leavening Systems, Shelf Life Studies & Rheological Properties)
- Knowing the competitors product
- Must have hand on skills of baking goods
- Should have clear understanding of team building and how to be good team player
- Having good self and team motivation skills
- Having a good leadership skills
- Will Directly be reporting to Production Manager
