We are looking for a dynamic semi senior accountant to join our team.

You will be responsible for providing accounting and bookkeeping support to current clients. The successful candidate should have a master’s degree and/or ACCA part qualified, have bookkeeping experience and be looking to work within a fast paced and growing company.

Reporting to the director, working with clients’ team. In your role as a semi senior Accountant you will primarily be providing support for everyday bookkeeping, tax, and other accountancy functions.

Responsibilities of the role:

Bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
Bank and expenses postings by updating information on accounts software and excel
Accounts preparation up to trial balance
Bank and expenses postings by updating information on accounts software and excel
Preparation of a monthly management information, including budgets, cash flow statements and other reports as required control account reconciliations, variance analysis and margin analysis.
Liaising with clients and dealing with their queries
Managing client files including preparation of engagement letters and other records

Candidate requirements:

Strong IT skills - Microsoft Excel, Words, Sage
Excellent Attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence and initiative to solve problems without supervision
Ambitious and persistent, self-motivated and enjoy working to targets
Commercial knowledge and ability to identify new opportunities
UK Based Accountancy practice work experience would be advantageous
Should be fluent in English
