Mid Level Php Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack PHP Developer with extensive experience in multiple programming languages and frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining complex web applications, particularly within the ERP domain. This role focuses on integrating new features into existing and new applications, optimizing performance, and ensuring high-quality code standards. The position requires working night shifts from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM and is based in Garden West, Karachi. This is a full-time, in-house opportunity offering a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and frameworks such as Laravel and CodeIgniter. Integrate new features and enhancements into both existing and new web applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new functionalities. Work extensively on API development and integration, creating APIs for other applications. Utilize AJAX, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript (preferably jQuery) to build responsive and dynamic user interfaces. Apply object-oriented programming principles in PHP development. Manage AWS infrastructure to ensure scalable and secure deployment of applications. Use SFTP tools like Putty for server management. Employ Git for version control and Jira for issue tracking and project management. Implement and maintain web services including SOAP and REST for seamless system integration. Work with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB, and manage web servers like Apache. Conduct thorough debugging and quality assurance to maintain code performance and reliability. Ensure effective implementation of UI/UX designs to enhance user experience. Maintain ERP development expertise as a core requirement.

Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with PHP and frameworks including Laravel, Zend, and CodeIgniter. High proficiency in AJAX, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks (preferably jQuery). Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts in PHP. Proven experience in API development and integration. Proficiency in using SFTP tools such as Putty for server management. Familiarity with Git for version control and Jira or similar tools for issue tracking and project management. Extensive knowledge of web services, including SOAP and REST protocols. Experience working with databases like MySQL and MongoDB, and web servers such as Apache. Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles. Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to debug and perform quality assurance on code efficiently. Prior ERP development experience is mandatory.
